    If bronze is not on your list I'm telling you today is the day that you add it. Fellas get a reservation on the books because this is a vibe. As soon as you walk in you automatically feel like you are transported into an African futuristic vibe. We were seated by the owner which was cool and a great way to be introduced to the place. For starters we had the gem salad and the plantains. The plantains had a sauce that was fire and it was very complimentary to the dish. For drinks we had the Voodoo and the 1K eyes. Both drinks were flavorful and were not too strong but just right. For dinner my date and I shared the snapper and the coconut rice. Both I recommended. The snapper had so much flavor and the greens that accompanied it was amazing. 10 out of 10 recommend.

    Bronze was such a cool experience. The decor is really gorgeous and I had the oxtail pappardelle which was delicious and fairly light for a pasta dish. The cocktails were delightful and fun and the server was incredibly kind and knowledgeable about the menu. The only reason this is only a 4 start review is because they were out of two of the items I wanted to try.

    I'm making it my business to support black-owned restaurants in the DMV. I am also making it a point to give my honest feedback about the customer service and food. I recently visited Bronze for Sunday brunch. I love the restaurant decor and the service was exceptional. The playlist gets two thumbs up. I enjoyed my expresso martini. I would choose the pancakes over the french toast... and the crab salad was light and refreshing. I do recommend this spot and will be visiting again for dinner.

    Need a date spot that isn't in the heart of the city but is still a good time? Bronze might be your answer. Their decor goes for this Afrofuturistic vibe, and they have two levels, and a patio outside the top floor. The lighting is quite low, and the tunes are excellent. I first came for their soft opening and had some tasty prawns. I finally made my way back recently with some friends. I had the charred yuzu squid... listen. Normalize herb pesto on squid, because that was an excellent treat. It was extremely light and I could have a whole tray of it (and pay a fortune), but it was soooo good. The staff are super friendly and have a fully stocked bar to make good cocktails and mocktails. Check out their happy hour too -- it's one of those spots where it's literally just an hour, so plan accordingly!
